FORT PORTAL AN UNQUESTIONABLE TOURISM CITY
Fort Portal located is in the west of Uganda. Located in the heart of the "Greatest Kingdom of Tooro" as described by Dr Patrick Businge the Author of a book which titled the same words in quotes.
Fort portal has always been regarded the cleanest town of the land. A rating the leaders of the town have never accepted to loose.
Cleanliness and hygiene comes right from some one’s mindset, infact it’s a habbit, if some one grew up litter things around anyhow, you shouldn’t expect the Cleanest environment around them, not until certain measures are implemented such as educating people towards the best practices of environment friendly waste management within their communities aswell as encouraging citizens to take personal responsibility to improve the hygiene and cleanliness in their homes and surrounding areas.
Fort-portal is the most cleanest town in Uganda today, its not that i was born in this beutiful city but I and many have traveled in different areas in Uganda and confessed that this town is different in terms of cleanliness, the authorities have trained people not to litter the place anyhow. Fort-Portal is located in western Uganda, 320 kms from Kampala city.
